subsidy is the reason for all the losses in the suburban train networks.
and unnecessarily hell bent on running AC local trains by cancelling regular services
metro takes way too long to be built. i don't think people can wait for another decade with the amount of traffic on bengaluru roads.
Now there are high hopes on the govt, a good chance that suburban may get materialized. Airport route need a new airport trumpet station, near flyover. It should not take more than 1 year to start airport rapid rail.
