Mumbai-Nagercoil expresses via Krpuram and Renigunta shall be up graded to Super Fast Expresses and Nagercoil arrival time advanced by 3 to 4 hours.Via Krpuram have to be diverted via Kalluru and Salem-Namakkal route skipping Gootty and Erode and so saved 2 hours and avoid loca reversal time at Erode.
I humbly disagree..... Though its general quota may have vacancies it is a huge boon for people in central and southern tamil nadu to reach various locations enroute
It helps people to reach but what is the use in coach augmentation when general quota has vacancies is my point. If it has WL of 150+ regularly then adding 2 SL will make justice.
Mostly i booked to Kalyan for disembarking in PUNE IN THIS TRAIN.
it should be noted that same case exists for Chennai passengers as well .
