who ever wrote that in Malayalam has it got wrong :) correct is എക്സ്പ്രസ്സ് but appreciate the fact that they have put it in malayalam
once I saw West coast/MAQ mail in Malayalam also :) not the train name but the source and destination in the sleeper class
This is SWR, which not only maintains coaches in good condition, but all keep people happy of all states, whereever the train plies by adding local language name plate.
First time saw 5 different languages in single board, very good

Brother, I just joked. Its taking around 18 hrs to cover 820 kms at around 45 kmph and that too in large part of line being FEDL. But the main thing is SBC-MAQ is covered by bus (albeit by shorter route) in around 10 hrs which simply puts off comon man. My office collegue in fact argued with me that the train must be reaching MAQ at 5:40 and not 17:40

16565 Yesvantpur Junction- Mangalore Central Weekly express led by N.R's Ghaziabad (GZB) WAP5 #30131 arrives Payyannur for its scheduled halt!This is WAP5's 2nd visit and GZB WAP5 's 1st visit with a MAQ bound train!❤️😌

irifan2015~ 2428 blog postsIts RSA train Lucknow YPR SF arrives at 1640 on Sundays. This MAQ train depart at 2355 and returns back on Tuesdays, and departs to Lucknow on Wednesdays.
Being SWR train, this should run via Mysore, Hassan to MAQ. On Mondays, It can start at 0600 from YPR to reach MAQ via Mysore at 1745 No pf issues at MAQ as this slot is anyway used at present.
With this, one weekly train is made available for Ramanagaram Mandya Mysore to Mangalore.

irifan2015~ 2428 blog postsNow, this train runs at useless timings. This SWR train should be diverted via Hassan. It reaches MAQ by 1730 and leaves by 2015. So, instead of leaving YPR at 2355, it can start by next day 0800 to reach MAQ by 1730. Can leave MAQ as usual by 2015 to reach YPR by 0530.
If SR PGT has any problem, they can run a train from MAJN to KJM in current slot via SRR.

We already raised this concern long back. They simply its not for end to end travellers. This train mainly running for TN & KL office goers.....
