Yesterday (21Sep2024) my uncle has travelled in this train from Durg to NZM in B4 coach and at night after the train departed from Gwalior Jn his luggage (A Trolley Suitcase) was stolen. The Suitcase was locked safely with ⛓️ chain beneath the lower berth on which my uncle was sleeping and the robbers cut the chain ⛓️ and stolen the Suitcase. In the morning when he woke up the suitcase was missing so it is assumed that it's been stolen in between Gwalior and Agra. FIR has been registered at NZM Rly Police Station.
The safety of the passenger and their luggage 🧳 is a serious concern in trains and even AC class is not safe and secure to travel.

No TTE / RPF ?? Coach attendent should be there ? Wasn't he there ?

While cutting or removing the chain there should be some kind of sound, didn't your uncle hear that ? What about other pax in the coach?

There was no RPF and Coach Attendent after BPL, as always TTE was sleeping in 2AC coach, my uncle and other pax didn't heard any sound of chain cutting. They all were very shocked and surprised to see the cutted chain.
And few other pax luggage also got stolen.

Additionally, several other trains will run on diverted routes via Jharsuguda-Titlagarh-Raipur, including the Howrah-Mumbai-Howrah Mail, Azad Hind Express, Bhubaneswar-LTT Express, LTT-Bhubaneswar Express, Nizamuddin-Raigarh Gondwana Express, and Raigarh-Nizamuddin Gondwana Express. The Gondia-Jharsuguda-Gondia MEMU will terminate and depart from Bilaspur during this period.
