Amongst the day ICE trains, this one takes the most time and hence is the least preferred. However, due to the lower length of rake size, it does gets still decently full. Come 30 mins before and you'll get a seat very easily, even window ones in some coaches. If you are boarding from intervening station, better to book in C1 rather than go standing.

No nearby(around and inside station) food court/Dhaba is available. So please bring your own food. Only a stall is available at PF No2/3 with limited eating items.

auto from outside of station is available for jekhni chowk at cost of 150 rs(14/08/2024) for 3 person. From there you will get bus/shared taxi for banihal/Srinagar.

If you have to book b/w 2A and 1A in this train, go for 2A even if it is in RAC or couple of WL. The 8 1A seats are always almost empty. Once, I saw only one seat booked, back when booking lists were pasted. When I personally traveled in 1A of this train, the person next to be had automatically been upgraded from 2A, again showing that 1A almost isn't chosen at all.

To reach this station, take an auto to civil lines from Raebareily station and then another auto/e rickshaw to Munshiganj. It is right next to a police station.[100 m adjacent inside]. It may take you ~30 mins to reach from RBLrailway station since roads are not very good in the city plus direct transportation isn't available. Though if someone is coming via road, it is only few kms from Lucknow - Allahabad main road and slightly closer.
