Four general special trains between Jagdalpur and Dantewada have been introduced by the Waltair Division of East Coast Railway to cater to the increased passenger demand and provide convenient travel for people visiting the Danteshwari Temple during the Dussehra festival. These special trains will run until October 14. These trains are available from Jagdalpur (08513) and Dantewada (08514) on October 13, and from Jagdalpur (08515) and Dantewada (08516) on October 14, with timings ranging from 2:45 PM to 8:15 AM. There are also two additional special trains departing from Jagdalpur (08511) and Dantewada (08512) on October 14, with timings ranging from 8:15 AM to 11:30 AM. All these special trains will have General Second Class Sitting coaches. The Waltair Division Senior Divisional Commercial Manager K. South Central Railways has extended the bi-weekly Kacheguda - Mangalore Central - Kacheguda Express (train numbers 12789/12790) to Murdeshwar, via Kundapura, effective from October 11th. Train 12789 will now reach Murdeshwar at 2:05 pm, while train 12790 will depart from Murdeshwar at 3:50 pm.
