New platforms to extra lines at Sambalpur Railway Station: ECoR to divert 5 trains for over 4 months

Sambalpur Railway Station in Odisha is undergoing a comprehensive yard remodeling project, which will impact rail services for over four months, from September 20, 2024, to February 5, 2025. As a result, one MEMU train will be cancelled, and five pairs of Express trains will be diverted via Sambalpur City Station....

The cancelled train is the Jharsuguda-Sambalpur-Jharsuguda MEMU (08169/08170). The diverted Express trains are: Puri-Rourkela-Puri Express (18126/18125), LTT-Bhubaneswar-LTT Express (12879/12880), LTT-Puri-LTT Express (22865/22866), Lalgarh-Puri-Lalgarh Express (20471/20472), and Puri-Jodhpur-Puri Express (20813/20814). These diverted trains will have a 5-minute stoppage at Sambalpur City Station for passenger convenience.
