not required , if it is extended to Pollachi then it will affect RSA of passenger, then maintenance of this express will deteriorate. No need to extend. This itself is better , better to introduce a DEMU to connect this from POY

That will be a waste of cost for railways, to introduce a new demu instead of exteding a halted train from palani to pollachi. May be they shall send the express with reduced number of coaches like blue mountain express from cbe to mtp.

it wont be waste . they can run the DEMU multiple times between POY-PLNI. PLNI express is one of the best mainitained trians by SR . Else it will become worse too. from POY it should come to DG and return . It will affect the Timetable as well.
