Mandir stations. Additionally, a new coaching terminus at Jogeshwari, costing ₹69 crore, will accommodate 24-car trains and feature a 600-meter long island platform. This terminus will benefit passengers travelling to Gujarat, reducing travel time for those from areas like Borivali, Kandivali, Andheri, Vasai, and northwestern suburbs. Meanwhile, the Central Railway has started work on a maintenance facility for AC Sleeper Vande Bharat trains at Wadi Bunder, costing ₹54 crore. The Railway Board has instructed all Zonal Railways to identify locations for developing maintenance infrastructure for Vande Bharat trains.
