This upgrade is part of a larger plan to equip the entire Kolkata Metro network with the ATO mode of the CBTC signalling system over the next five years, enhancing the commuting experience and allowing for increased train frequency.

nahi hogi. CBTC system pehle se East-West Metro corridor pe use ho raha hai. CBTC System ke ATO (Automatic Train Operations) mode se motormen ki role limited ho jayegi, unhe bas doors close karne aur train ko station se chalu karne ka kaam karna hoga. Aage ke 5 saalon mein, poora Kolkata Metro network ATO mode se laya jaayega, isse commuting ka experience badhega aur train frequency ko badhane ki flexibility milegi.
