Indian Railways : Seen in video is 12957/Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani Express hauled by Vatva [VTA] WDM-3D #11229 at my favourite railfanning location near Khodiyar station of Western Railways [WR]. This train is one of my favourite trains and also the most number of times captured Rajdhani train by me, but still the excitement to capture this train increases every time I am on field. Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani (Train Codes: 12957/12958) is a Rajdhani Express train on the Indian Railways broad gauge track network, connecting Ahmedabad (code: ADI) and New Delhi (code: NDLS), a distance of approximately 940 km. The train was one of the last Rajdhani Express trains to be introduced in the 20th century, making its inaugural run in 1997 after the estwhile metre gauge lines between Ahmedabad and Delhi through Gujarat, Rajasthan and Haryana were converted to broad gauge. Since it was introduced in the 50th year of India's independence, it was named 'Swarna Jayanti' (golden jubilee) Rajdhani Express.

Indian Railways : Here is a video dedicated to BIRTHDAY BOY, 12915/Ashram SF Express hauled by Bhagat Ki Kothi [BGKT] WDP-4 #20089 a.k.a. Old Delhi in India. It is a daily service. It operates as train number 12915 from Ahmedabad Junction to Old Delhi and as train number 12916 in the reverse direction. The train's route runs on a broad gauge section converted from metre gauge in the 1990s. During the metre gauge era, this train ran as the 505/506 Ashram Express. As over 80% of its route is single line & has yet to be electrified, it usually gets a EMD Locomotive WDP-4/4B/4D from Bhagat Ki Kothi [BGKT] shed.
12915/Ashram SF Express travels 938 km in 15h 40m with 18 halts at an average speed of 59 km/hr and belongs to Western Railways [WR].

FIRST EVER : KJM ALCO WITH TRACK SOUNDS : Honking + Chugging ALCO With Yesvantpur - Bikaner Express
Indian Railways : My first ever capture of Namma KJM ALCO. Seen here is 16587/Yesvantpur - Bikaner Express hauled by Krishnarajapuram [KJM] WDG-3A #13035 at my favourite RF spot Khodiyar curve of Western Railways. This train was running late by more than 2 and half hours and I waited a lot for my first date with KJM loco under moon. The honking and chugging show coupled with track sounds made my wait worth it.

09417/Ahmedabad - Delhi Sarai Rohilla AC Premium Special travels 934 km in 14h 40m with 5 halts at an average speed of 63 km/hr and belongs to Western Railways [WR]. Train has a Limited Run from May 02 to May 30 and I got an opportunity to capture it on its first run. :)
