Reduce 80 Kms and add 2-2.5 hrs slack: is it any wonder if train dont get delayed when diverted from Main Line to Chord??

TRIP REPORT - 22324/ER GCT KOAA (GAYA - BWN)
Trip report for my journey done along with our IRI member & friend Mr.Amit Kumar Singh (Bhilai) on 17th December 2016 (Saturday) from Gaya.Jn to Barddhaman.Jn
Reached Gaya.Jn station at 05:40 Hrs, spotted Mumbai Mail arriving at pf#01 along with a WAP-7 HWH, while we moved along with our luggage on pf#02-03, it was 05:45 Hrs but still no announcement or name over display board then heard a shrill sound of horn along with bright headlight, yes that was our train to board -
Ok... so you got the privilege to take snaps of this newbie train at Gaya, Dhanbad, Asansol, Durgapur and Bardhamman... all biggie stations covered between Mughalsarai and Kolkata for this train. Nice snaps... did your train slow down at GMO or skipped at a decent speed since track renewal work was going on over there some months ago ? :)
Pic 23 is Barakar river bridge is sort of border that marks end of Jharkhand and beginning of West Bengal. With KMME (my home station) in Jharkhand and Barakar station in WB. Besides as this train goes to KOAA its route must separate from Dankuni JN so it would halt for signal or something. I have once seen SDAH Rajdhani halting there. So u could have debaorded there. In case it didnt halt there was no way but to come back from KOAA by bus or train.
Some track maintenance work with Plasser machine was going on, while we skipped at speed of 40KMPH through NSCB Gomoh.Jn
Exactly! My dad was accompanying me so I didn't took any chance (for unscheduled halt enroute), hence deboarded at Barddhaman.Jn
