Presenting a complete Journey compilation on board the Shatabdi Express connecting Chennai and Mysore, though i did the journey only till Bengaluru. The Journey happened in 2014, the times when Bengaluru City was the only halt of this train. We begin our journey from Chennai on an early February morning and make our way out of the city twisting and turning through the initial 5kms. Once the mainline is joined at Perambur it is a non stop run all the way to Bengaluru. The early morning arrivals come in thick and fast. The third and fourth line between Tiruvallur and Arakkonam were just taking shape and hence the customary switch to slow line happened at Tiruvallur. The
AJJ WAP1 hauling us was utilized fully and Katpadi was reached in exactly 105mins. The train used to skip Katpadi earlier and hence the slow crawl into the mainline even as the daily Superfast from Thiruvananthapuram made its way out. The run through to Jolarpettai was butter smooth, and the 84km distance was gulped down in just 60mins. After switching to the Bengaluru bound lines here, the ascent began into the ghats bordering Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu. The WAP1 made little work of the 15coach load and barreled ahead undeterred of the continuous grades and curves. Pretty soon we were knocking the gates of Bengaluru as we descended the down grade and cruised into Whitefield, subsequently thrashing Krishnarajapuram and slowing down for a speed restriction at Baiyyappanahalli. The journey took 5mins lesser than the ETA, and was one of the more memorable journeys I have ever done on this route.
Please do watch completely, and let me know what you think

Recently inaugurated BBS Humsafar arrived at KJM at 3:15 pm. All coaches were of NR except the front EOG and PC which were of WR and ER respectively. All coaches and EOG were 2016 made except PC which was 2005 made. The train was then attached to an EMD and left at 4 pm towards BYPL yard probably for water filling and some cleaning. They announced that it will depart at 4:45 pm, but at 4:30 pm it was still standing at BYPL mainline waiting to go to BYPL yard.
UBL original
cab EMD, which was in the adjacent line, with aqua blue livery looks matching to the Humsafar livery.
Also are pics of:
UBL old Logo. New logo you can see: /blog/post/2252581
RPM logo with a Red building (probably the historically significant RPM station) and a WAP7 depicted in the middle.
A visitor from ECR at BNC.
Newly POHed GR Power Car attached to Basava - probably from MYS Workshop to YPR.

The logo seen on 30341 was the first logo designed for P7s and can be seen mostly on older P7s of RPM but I think 30541 has this logo(not sure as I spotted it at speed). There is another type of logo as you can see on 30350 in /blog/post/2348079 and another on 30479(aka Thangam, the 50th P7 of RPM) in /blog/post/1961718 though both are same but in different colours with "SR Royapuram Electric Loco Shed" markings in Hindi and English mostly found on later ones.

Itna decoration allowed nhi h wese. Operational point of view se its not at all feasible. Headlights, viewing glass n windshield should not be clogged in any case.
