Many people from Andhra Pradesh visit Mussoorie, DDN, Jim Corbett National Park, HW, Nainital, HW RK etc. There is no proper train from AP to these places. So it would be better if there is direct train from DDN to VSKP Via NDLS.

I had travelled by the 22847 LTT Express from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai. The train was filled to capacity and wait listed passengers had also boarded this train in the down stations at Bobbili, Rayagada, Titlagarh, Kantabanji… as this is the only train to India's commercial capital from this region, says Karunakar, who travelled by this train recently.
Many people with general tickets boarded the train till Raipur and Durg as it is serving as a daytime Intercity Express. Many pilgrims from Vizianagaram, Rayagada and other places, find this train convenient to visit Sri Shirdi Sai Baba temple. They alight at Manmad and go by road.
this train has such high patronage, we request the East Coast Railway to initiate the following: Increase the number of coaches from the present 19 to 24 by adding a few AC coaches as there is huge demand, convert the train into a daily (as it caters to the needs of people going to both Mumbai and Shirdi) by slightly changing its timings as this slot is filled and run as a daily two-pair Inter-city (like 12805/6 Janmabhoomi Express) from Visakhapatnam to Raipur/Bilaspur/Korba and vice-versa as it reduces the load on this train.

Agree with Karunakar ..
This train should be made daily as it caters to the needs of People of North Coastal AP & South Western Odisha .. going to Shirdi & Mumbai ..
A day time ICE from VSKP to R/BSP/KRBA reduces the load on 12807 Samata SF Exp
If made daily then in a way it reduces the load on 18519/20 and 18503/4
So ya these r good sugg to be implemented ..

Please do not compare Kolkata with VSKP..Kolkata serves as the hub of Indian Railways of eastern region...people from neighboring states Jharkhand, some parts of Bihar and the whole of North East depends on Kolkata...

VSKP is also not small ..
3 North Coastal Dists depend on VSKP ..
Also Southern & South West Dists of Odisha also depend on VSKP
Parts of Chattisgarh also depend on VSKP ..
I'm not comparing VSKP to HWH or any other place .. but do not demean other cities ..
People & their necessity to travel is same across anywhere

u must have been surely out of your demand before making such demand....a train which runs jampacked 365 days u want it to be restricted till bbs in return for a train which runs 5 days a week and is expensive and a second weekly ac express train.....think about the normal people who don't want to spend an extra amount on duronto and who can't really afford ac tickets.....think twice before posting such kind of blogs

Naresh, a government employee living in Anakapalle, and Achari, a teacher living in Vizianagaram, who commute to the city daily for work, find the lack of local trains a curse for commuters.
“Though there are trains from Anakapalle to Visakhapatnam, they do not match the actual demand. I have to board either 57271 BZA- Rayagada Passenger or 57255 Kakinada - Vizag EMU, which are already packed to capacity with hardly any space to get in,” says Naresh.
Mr. Achari travels from Vizianagaram to Visakhapatnam every day. He boards 78531 Vizianagaram-Visakhapatnam DEMU, which is
packed to capacity with hardly any space to stand comfortably leave alone sitting in the train.
Both Naresh and Achari feel that there should be MEMU s (Mainline Electrical Multiple Unit) between Tuni/Anakapalle to Vizianagaram via Visakhapatnam after every 1 hour and a few services can be extended up to Annavaram one side (as it would meet the requirement of pilgrims travelling to Sri Satyanarayana Swamy temple) and Srikakulam on other side (as it would be useful to those going to Arasavalli and Srikurmam temples).
The introduction of the local trains would help in reducing the load on the National Highway and minimising road accidents. This is not all, the middle class and the poor will be saved the hassle of paying three or four times the fare for travel in buses.

Yes there should be an EMU every 1hr from CCT/RJY to VSKP and similarly RGDA to VSKP and BAM to VSKP ..
