It is one of the busiest as well as worst maintained stations I have ever seen. Waiting rooms are infested with big rats, cockroaches and mosquitoes. Sanitation facility is poor and catering service sub-standard.

Tempos are available every time from Mughalsarai to Varanasi Cant Station/Junction. It will take around 45-50 minutes (peak hours) to reach Varanasi Junction from Mughalsarai Junction

I was charged with rs. 25 from MGS to BSB (one year ago). The autos do not start until get filled up by passengers (the engines are kept running pretending they are about to start and this may continue for eternity).
