Good one. In ideal situation the charge should have been around Rs.150-180 for a mere 12 km distance to drop. I have seen that Ola/Uber mostly charge surge from station area. Considering this I think 250 will be good bargain!

For tourists who prefer to travel by bus from this station- KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) bus station is just across the road from this station. This bus station provides excellent connectivity to all major towns and cities around alwaye which include but not limited to Trissur, Guruvayur, North Paravur, Perumbavoor, Munnar, Muvattupuzha, Fort cochin, Ernakulam and Cochin international airport. This is by far the best rail hub for tourists planning to visit the famous hill station in kerala- Munnar. Aluva is also the closest major railway station to idukki which is home to one of the biggest arch dams in south asia
