As the 20112 Konkan Kanya Express was further delayed, Tutari was spared on this particular day from the blazing scheduled Konkan Kanya overtake which resulted in the before time arrival.

This train needs some serious speed up in TT. 10Hrs are enough to cover the distance. Lot of slack between Panvel and Ratnagiri in both up and down services
It could start from CSMT around 23:50 to reach SWV at 09:50, return journey can start at 19:10 to reach CSMT at 05:10

Speeding up Tutari is not going to help as the slack given is very much required to cover the time lost in the single line section.
In spite of the current slack, it gets delayed on an average by 30-45 mins at Ratnagiri in the down direction and has a scheduled overtake by LTT MAO Express.
In the return direction, the slack at Panvel and further till CSMT helps it cover-up the time lost due to the overtake by Rocket and KonkanKanya in non-monsoon days.
