The Demu to Ahmedabad crawls in to an ancient station called Khodiyar.
I went for a short railfanning session to Ahmedabad from this station.
There are three platforms out of which two are for BG and one for MG trains. I witnessed a MG express skipping this station at a good speed which was fantastic. Video coming soon.

As per GIDB, work in progress. Technical, Deadline is 2017 but I hope it will be over soon.

As per Gujarat Infrastructure Developement Board Website, the Work is in progress. It was projected as part of 2012-2017 FY Plan. Hence, Deadline is 2017 but it may complete sooner as work has already started
