So no other way. Rajhamundry , kakinada people have to book up to VSKP.

If possible will see the inaugural run in chennai central to see flagging off
Inaugural special already in waiting. After 4 days regular train that's also RAC. Great response for SHIRDI train.

Also if there is less demand, we won't get more trains in that route by saying where is the demand ???
In India everything is useful to only BBS but not to others.Prasanthi was extended to BBS for the devotees of Putaparthi sai Baba. Now if the same thing is required for Assam and WB,will they extend to GHY or HWH.
If its required,then they will start another train from HWH or GHY to SBC by passing VSKP and having halts at bayyavaram,kasimkota, brahmanagudem, pasivedula etc places :P

I think the problem with this slot is congestion at both bza and SC but going to shirdi afternoon is much preferred than evening

Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam-Shirdi and Visakhapatnam-Chennai express trains, which were already being operated as special trains, would be launched as regular services from December 2 or 3. The Railway authorities are making arrangements for their launch.
It may be recalled here that both Visakhapatnam-Shirdi and Visakhapatnam-Chennai trains were allocated to the Waltair division in the current year’s Railway Budget. The authorities are planning to invite Minister of State for Railways Kotla Suryaprakasa Reddy and other two Union Ministers Dr D Purandeswari and Y Kishore...
