This train ran empty last time as well during summers at that time it even ran 20 hrs late,
IR on one hand runs Premium which doesn't benefit many and then there are this JS brand trains which too doesn't benefit many passengers
Strange are the working ways of IR...

none of the JS specials get too much patronage and publicity ....if JS can maintain thier schedule that will help motivate people and go help them gain confidence to travel in this ..i once travled in Chhapra - CST JS from JHS to ET and it was very confortable ride ..the train rocked with high speeds and in around 6 hrs 30 mins i was in ET without any hassle and no burns on my pockets too ...

I agree its really inconvenient for commuters to terminate journey midways unless people are aware abt going to Mumbai Cst and those who are new to Mumbai will have lots of confusion. Trains which are more than 5hrs late and are rescheduled are terminated at Dadar and directly go to Byculla yard since in evenings reversals are difficult at Cst as platforms are occupied and lots of trains come to Cst in evening.

oh so this is a regular process for 5+ hr delayed trains, I didnt know that. Good to know and keep in mind for Mumbai travelers.
