Gokul_Bas~ 1832 blog postsSantragachi to Coimbatore rate for AC 2 tier is Rs.8550. Don't know why this much amount charged by IR whereas only around 3000 in same class in other trains.....
High demand is because of holiday season and also because some trains got cancelled.
Actually speaking for benefit of those who got stranded, normal fare specials should be run.

Gokul_Bas~ 1832 blog postsSpotted 80823 near Coimbatore North Junction. The extended run was with ICF rake. They were old rake of some train. The loco incharge was Lallaguda WAG-9H 31123..... The train reached CBE around 14:50.....
No sir, I haven't seen the train, but saw a video of the same..very few people.. More publicity should be made.
