Who manufacturers these 2S coaches ICF Chennai or MCF Rai Bareilly ? Because after travelling in the 2S Second sitting of Karnavati Express I was impressed with the individual and reclining seats of 2S, I thought this is the future of 2S, the best a common man can get in a throwaway price. But what made railways manufacture this combined seats at 90 degree. I have travelled yesterday in this Jan Shatabdi and it gave me serious back ache due to this 90 degree seats. This 2S is not recommended for travel of long duration.

Meh, I still long for the second sitting coaches in the type of general coach of the past era. Atleast if one has a window seat in that case, he/she actually gets a full window,especially when it comes to the Side berths. These modern berths in many cases is a disgrace.

For eg, many coaches in GKP LJN ICE are fitted with trays for eating food. Ironically, the distance is so short and proper food isn't given on train that no one uses it. These coaches would be better served on another...
