Yo, listen up! Central Railway is ditchin' the old ICF rakes for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Nagpur Sevagram Express and switchin' 'em to LHB rakes. Here's the lowdown:

The first new rake for 12140 Nagpur-CSMT Sevagram Express starts from Nagpur on 25th May 2024 and for 12139 CSMT– Nagpur Sevagram Express on 26th May 2024.
The second new rake for 12140 Nagpur-CSMT Sevagram Express starts from Nagpur on 26th May 2024 and for 12139 CSMT– Nagpur Sevagram Express on 27th May 2024.

New Composition: 22 Coaches - 2 AC-2 Tier, 12 AC-3 Tier Economy, 4 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class, Guard’s brake van, and 1 Generator Van.
LHB Rakes developed by Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) from Germany bring a whole lotta perks like being lighter, longer, faster, safer, more seating capacity, bio toilets, better AC, efficient braking, and lower maintenance costs.
The shift from ICF to LHB is a move by Railways to make travel better for passengers.

12140 Nagpur-CSMT Sevagram Express ka doosra rake LHB coaches ke saath Nagpur se chalega from 26.5.2024 jabki 12139 CSMT– Nagpur Sevagram Express chalega from 27.5.2024.

Revised Composition: Total 22 Coaches-Two AC-2 Tier, 12 AC-3 Tier Economy, 4 Sleeper Class, Three General Second Class including Guard’s brake van and o­ne Generator Van.

Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coach ek passenger coach hai jo Linke-Hofmann-Busch ne Germany mein develop kiya hai. Iska istemal Indian Railways ne kiya hai aur yeh Kapurthala, Chennai aur Raebareli ke rail coach manufacturing units mein produce hota hai.
Isme kai faayde hain compared to conventional ICF rakes jaise :
•Halka aur Lamba ICF coaches se
•Better Speed
•Safe (Agar derailment hoti hai to dusre coach par chadhne nahi lagte)
•Zyada seating capacity
•Biodigestor se fitted toilets

•Sasti aur kam maintenance cost
ICF coaches ko LHB coaches se replace karna Railways ka ek aur kadam hai apne passengers ko behtar safar karwane ke liye.
