how was the food? how was the coach- both exec and cc? any pictures? thank you for the updates. Is it worth buying exec or cc is good enough? is it comparable to JNS?
:) I am a vegetarian .. any idea about the veg options available on the train? I am assuming that they would serve (high?) tea and dinner... was wondering if someone on the forum has heard abt the menu... Also needed to know whether to book the exec or cc class tix... the exec is a super steep INR 2100 + :)
AC Chair Car would be fine for travelling, I also dont know the exact menu, will be on 24th by this train from Thane to Sindhudurg, will update in forum..

I am looking to book asap.. looking at booking myself on the new CST-KRMI shatabdi train.. Did your folks click pix of the coaches/ food? can you pls share? ... also want to know whether to book exec or cc? thanks!

somehow feeling nostalgic remembering all the JNS journeys till 10 years back.. till 31st march 2003 all food (mineral water bottle + tea + more tea and proper heavy breakfast + soup/ salad + lunch (i mean heavy lunch) used to be included in the fare of the JNS tikt DR - MAO CC was INR 600 and 2S (non ac) was INR 280 (i think the 2S fare is still the same)... it was incredible the amount of food + service they would offer ..and the food was awesome to say the least. The egg / chicken biryani used to be delicious... It was as if we travelled for free then given such low all inclusive fares
