Any construction works/ operation / maintenance works in the Kerala territory needs 200 % extra cost .So no private investors enter there and close the existing one also.So the coach factory establishment is not an easy task.
So Pollachi- Kinathukkadavu section should be transferred from Palakkad division to the Salem Division; NCJ-TEN, Nagercoil - Tirunelveli section should be transferred from the Thiruvananthapuram Division to the Madurai division and SCT (excluding ) Shenkottai - Punalur-Kollam (QLN) should be transferred from the Madurai Division to the Thiruvananthapuram Division , then all the interstate problem shall be solved.
