arishabh1819~ 1089 blog postsमाननीय श्री रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव जी से अनुरोध की शाहगंज जंक्शन की बाईपास लाइन बनाई जाए, जिससे ट्रेनों को शाहगंज जंक्शन पर लोको रिवर्सल न करना पड़े, जिससे काफी समय की बचत होगी। Khanja Halt से Bilwai तक एक बाईपास लाइन बन जाने से ट्रेनों को काफी राहत मिलेगी। शाहगंज जंक्शन पर ज्यादातर गाड़ियां मऊ/आज़मगढ़ से लखनऊ की तरफ जाती हैं, जिसके कारण शाहगंज में लोको रिवर्सल करना पड़ता है, चूंकि शाहगंज जंक्शन पर प्लेटफार्म की संख्या कम होने के कारण अन्य ट्रेनों को आउटर पर रोक दिया जाता है। जिसके कारण ट्रेन लेट भी हो जाती है।
अतः Khanja Halt से Bilwai तक एक बाईपास लाइन बनाने का कष्ट करें। आप लोगों की क्या राय हैं, जरूर बताएं।

Back in 2009-2011, the average speed of this train was higher than current RKMP Vande Bharat despite the fact that is travelled to NDLS instead of NZM
You don't understand, other countries speed up their trains. Meanwhile, IR slows down it's trains. It's a feature, not a bug! Look at Deccan Queen for example, it was faster when it was introduced in the 1930s than it is now. Says a lot about IR when British era trains were faster than current gen.
I agree with your point at an overall level. Even Coro, Geetanjali have been slowed down drastically from the time they were introduced. DQ my friend is a slightly different case. A lot of the slowdown with DQ has to do with increase in number of coaches. 12001/12002 kwas given meaningless slacks from 2012-2016. This in turn led to a flurry of new halts proposed some of which make zero sense
