SUVITHA Fares should be reduced from the last 40% from 3 times of tatkal fares to 2 times for 100% occupancy.Since all the AC PASSENGER FARES shall be reduced by 20% ,since these passengers are hiked by Surcharge. All the Divisional Managers shall be ensured satisfactory occupancy except in the trains last leg of its journey.

I already started a topic on railways losing and airways gaining. AC travel is becoming too much costly. Many sectors 2AC fare equal to Flight ticket price. 1AC we can leave it.

Absolutely agree. Time is premium - railways must do something to restore punctuality of its service. With the so called premium trains running 1-2 hrs late on an average, I think more and more of urban middle class will shift to air travel.

By paying these hefty amount , does it satisfies the people? the answer is very clear , A big NO. They frame the timetable as Suvidha/Premium or rajdhani category but what is the priority it gets ???? A priority equal to a fast passenger. A person is paying a charge almost equal to flight but what he gets is a big disappointment. Either IR should re do the price frame for Suvidha or better increase the tatkal quota seats so they will get good revenue
