What to do if a passenger has booked onward train ticket , and train is missed due to such events... ?
Nothing... It happened to me last time. I had booked VRVL-MAO in VRVL-TVC express. Due to derailment, the up train din't reach its destination and they rescheduled the down train. I cancelled this ticket
1-You cancelled onward ticket ?

they can permanently change route in any one of the above train passing thru Mangalore, so Belgaum and Hubli(connection at londa) will be connected to coastal-regions of karnataka mainly Mangalore.
My ticket was in RAC. Hence, I was confident that I ll get full amount and if you mention reasons such as train cancelled, rerouted, late etc. etc., then refund claiming procedure is bit lengthy...
