And hey, all the trains starting from Porbandar are still running with icf coaches, can you believe that? On the other hand, Rajkot CDO and Hapa CDO recently lhbfied their JAM - TEN, MAO - HAPA, HAPA - BSP, OKHA - NDT, RJT - DEE/ RJT - REVA and they hooked us up with all 3 economy coaches 'cause they ain't manufacturing no 3A coaches right now, you feel me? Man, I have no clue what the plans are for lhbfication 'cause neither RB nor Zones know how they gonna assign lhb coaches to existing trains. This delayed lhbfication is raising a lot of questions, bro.

Veraval CDO, jaise ki Somnath express aur JAT - ADI/ JU jaise complex RSA trains handle karta hai, par LHB rakes dene mein koi interest nahi hai. Abhi tak sab Porbandar se originate hone wali trains ICF coaches ke saath chal rahi hain. Lekin Rajkot CDO aur Hapa CDO ne abhi haal mein apne JAM - TEN, MAO - HAPA, HAPA - BSP, OKHA - NDT, RJT - DEE/ RJT - REVA trains ko LHB coaches se replace kar diya hai. Lekin bhale hi 3A coaches par production nahi ho rahi hai, isliye unhone saare 3 economy coaches de diye hain. Bhai, bilkul bhi clueless hai Lhbfication ke plans. RB aur Zones dono ko pata nahi hai existing trains ke liye LHB coaches ka allocation kaise hoga aur trains ki delayed Lhbfication se bahut saare sawaal uth rahe hain.

SER ke paas aaj tak ICF, MCF aur RCF se mila hua 100 se zyada LHB coaches hai. Mujhe ummeed hai ki kuchh tariko se SER KCG VSG slip aur 18047/48 ko bhi LHB coaches se suvidhit karva sake.

Otherwise, if you wanna go by public transport, you can take the local CTU (Chandigarh Transport Undertaking), a government-owned bus service, to ISBT Sec-43 Chandigarh. From there, you can hop on government buses going to Kalka, Solan, Shimla, etc, if you've got the time.
Another choice is to head to Housing Board Chowk from the railway station using a CTU bus (should cost around 10-20 Rs), auto-rickshaw (max Rs 100), or taxi (short distance of less than 5 kilometers). And from Housing Board Chowk, you can catch government buses coming from ISBT-43 Chandigarh to Kalka... if you've got the time, of course.
