Quality of food has come down a lot. Especially in Rajdhanis and Shatabdis, the food quality has come down significantly over the past decades. Heck, take the case of simple trains and their pantry cars. I would argue most trains I have travelled in have had below average food served [like seriously, untoasted bread in breakfast for a paying customer; how is someone supposed to eat that ]. No wonder e catering is becoming more popular these days.

Very true. Pantry car food price scam is also very prevalent in Indian railways now. They always overcharge for thalis and don't even provide bill unless asked and also don't provide dahi in 90% cases. Pantry car system needs total overhaul and supervision from top management. Otherwise they will continue looting passengers in the future too.

Agar tumhe itna hi railway ke kiraye se dikkat hai to State transport ki lowest category ki bus se chalo, wo bhi to chalti hi hai. Ha, Volvo se mat chale jaana, kyonki uska kiraya Tejas ya Shatabdi se bhi jyada chala jayega. 🙏

Looks like it's not going to end its service at New Delhi but instead end at Hazrat Nizamuddin with in btw stoppages at Jhansi Jn and Gwalior Jn....🤔🤔👍👍 let's hope to get a good TT for this upcoming train which can be inaugurated from April 1st.....
