Yes. During the reign of scindia many old important trains were sent from jhansi and agra to gwalior. Gwalior station which had only 2 platform(1BG+1NG) was constructed and 2 platform were added. Still he couldn't made Gwalior a division of CR.

No matter its GB, Duronto or HS they always will get pax. Infact IR should run a daily rajdhani or duronto to meet the needs. to fulfill the requirements of North India a daily HS can also be started between Delhi and Chennai. Old Janta Express, Jayanti Janta can also be started.
Please check your facts Sir before posting. You are saying that Gwalior had only one BG platform during 1985-1989 time ??? If so, would you inform IRI when Gwalior station got platform #2?
Also, JHS is still giving less revenue compare to Gwalior despite of having many more trains and all are giving almost 100% patroange while only few passengers are boarding in all premium trains from GWL. Would you like to share the reason ?
