if 12301/02 HWH-NDLS Rajdhani covers 1450 kms in less than 16 hrs, then average speed will be 92 kph.
Sab thik hai par jab king ki baat aati haai to aise bahaane maarne waalo ke liye garud puran mein alag se saja hai.
Kuch bhi reason ho TSR-PSR, politics etc. jo HWH ko troll karvate hain, vo King Rajdhani decide karne mein dekhe nhi jaate. MMCT rajdhani ka apna ek alag level hai, aur HWH ka apna. But best MMCT hi hai sirf ye hi keh rha hoon main.
Do you really think speeding up the TT is a solution if they aren't able to cope up with current one😅😅😅
Main line vi jhajha tak 130 hone wali hai
HWH Raj got 2 First AC & competes group of Raj/Shatabdi on Chord Line/Freight Corridor, is already @ 130 MPS (& scheduled to get 160 MPS with run time @ 12 hrs) while Mumbai Rajdhani got 1 First AC & compete with M/E/SF on Chord Line/Non-Freight Corridor, is not @ 130 MPS till 30 June (& scheduled to get 160 MPS with run time @ 10 hrs)!!
With low MPS, Mumbai Raj is still slightly faster then HWH Raj which illustrates difference of route & congestion!!
Mumbai Raj has got better amenities but
Why are trains given such extended halts at Katihar? Even trains that donot have loco change here have 20-30 minutes halts.
Crew change 5 min me possible hai. Water refilling bhi 10 minutes me ho jata hai.
Eg DDU, BZA
Max 15 min diya jata hai BSP, KUR jaise stations me.
KIR me 20 min se kam me hota hi nahi hai. Kafi inefficient hai.
Kon kon trains zyada halt Karti hai
Just like how Itarsi works for South bound trains, Katihar works for North-east bound trains. Crew Change + Watering + Cleaning is done for all NFR bound trains here, that's why most trains halt for more than 15 mins. Baaki LC wali trains ke liye minimum 20 mins toh chahiye hi.
10 min sufficient hota h water filling ke liye. Baki railway bhi nikamma hi h aadha.
not exactly jis jis train ka CKP me crew change hoti hai most of them stops for 7 mins and Utkal stops for 10 mins.
