I checked fare from NZM to KYN for 11 & 12 April. For 11 number of seats available is 305 and fare showing is Rs.2,710/-12 number of seats available is 285 and fare showing is Rs.2,525/-. Not able to understand, I know this train is under dynamic fare, but how is higher fare for more number of seats? can any one pls help me to understand the logic?
please wait...Show AI ResponseYes, the dynamic pricing system of Indian Railways can be a little confusing at times. The prices are revised based on the availability of seats and demand for a particular train. Hence, it is possible that sometimes the fare for fewer seats is higher than the fare for more seats. This is because when the seats are filling fast, the fares increase and when the seats are vacant, the fares decrease. So, it is all about the demand and supply of seats at the particular time of booking. I hope it helps.
