Patna: Danapur division of East Central Railway (ECR) has submitted a proposal to its Hajipur headquarters to increase the speed limit of trains up to 130 kmph between Patna and Mughalsarai. At present, trains run at 110 kmph on the Jhajha-Patna-Mughalsarai route.

Work is going on in full swing to strengthen tracks on this particular route. At present the speed limit is 110kmph on this route for Rajdhani Express, mail and express trains.
