I was onboard on 06647 Krba-Bsp Special Passenger Loco Link WAP-7 RPM #30350. In this curve Train gets inclined towards its Left. Passengers slides towards left whenever train passes through this curve. To get an experience in this curve you have to take a train from KORBA because it falls in KRBA-CPH (UP Line). click here

Yesterday (23:46)   Rail guard caught on camera stealing faucet from Tejas Exp - Mumbai Mirror

After stolen headphones and broken windows, the latest trouble for the train comes in the form of a greedy guard.
After passengers stole headphones in the inaugural run of the Mumbai-Goa Tejas Express in May this year, this time, the Railways have their own employee to blame. Manoj Bhadange, a shunting guard, has been caught on CCTV stealing a faucet from one of the lavatories. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) yesterday registered a case of theft against Bhadange for the incident that happened on the night of August 2.
In the video, Bhadange

is heard checking with others if the train has been locked, and then enters the lavatory. In about two minutes, he is seen emerging with a packet in his hand. The missing health faucet (hand shower) was discovered by a railway staff member at the Mazgaon yard of Central Railway on August 4.
The Railways have pegged the value of the theft at Rs 180. It is interesting to note that a railway shunting guard’s salary is around Rs 40,000 a month.
Bhadange was on maintenance duty on Tejas Express between Mazgaon and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus on the night of August 2. After the theft was reported, the senior section engineer of Carriage and Wagon departments of Mazgaon yard then informed the RPF. Authorities went through the CCTV footage of the previous days and zeroed in on Bhadange. A case was then registered under section 3 (a) of the Railway Property (Unlawful Possession) Act, 1966.
“We are going to take strict action on whoever is found guilty,” said Ravinder Goel, divisional railway manger of Central Railway, Mumbai division.
The first trip of the famed Tejas Express from Mumbai to Goa in May this year was marred by the fact that many passengers did not bother to return the headphones they were provided. Many of the LCD screens were also scratched. The cheapest ticket on the 992-seat train costs Rs 1,185, and the most expensive is the executive class ticket at Rs 2,740.
Miscreants had also damaged windows of the brand-new Tejas rakes after it left the Rail Coach Factory in Kapurthala on way to CST.
Tejas, hailed as an “aeroplane moving on the ground” by the Central Railway, boasts of amenities such as LED screens attached to seats, Wi-Fi, CCTV cameras, and tea/coffee vending machines. Capable of running at 200 kmph, the train covers the 552-km Mumbai-Goa journey within nine hours.

Then it is a point to wonder that will such people handle bullet train operations, redeveloped stations, etc., in future?

Hopefully, that should be the case. Airports have got tight security. Branded outlets, no see-off people beyond a particular limit, CCTV surveillance etc. Hope that should be the case with upcoming projects also. As of now everything is so pathetic.
RM must be doing decent when it comes to finances, but 'administration' part suck!

“Do you want to destroy” the world famous Taj Mahal, the Supreme Court asked the government on Thursday.
.
The scathing remarks by the apex court came during the hearing of an application seeking its nod to cut over 400 trees to lay down an additional railway track between Mathura in Uttar Pradesh to Delhi.
.
“This (Taj Mahal) is a world famous monument and you (government) want to destroy it? Have you seen the recent pictures of Taj? Go to the internet and have a look at it,” a bench comprising Justices Madan B Lokur and Deepak Gupta said.
.
“If you want, then file an affidavit or application and say that the Union of India wants to destroy the Taj,” the bench said.
.
The apex court, which is dealing with a petition filed by environmentalist M C Mehta, has been monitoring development in the area to protect the historic Taj Mahal, built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz in 1631 and which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Mehta, in his PIL, has sought protection of the Taj from the ill effects of polluting gases and deforestation in and around the area.
.
The apex court had earlier passed a slew of directions on the issue of protecting the iconic monument.

Life expectancy at birth is also expected to increase being 71 year in 2025-30 to 74.2 years in 2045-50.
So you cannot exactly tell that death rate at present scenario, rather when growth will be slow past 2050 then that situation prevails.

We have a decline in Total Fertility Rate(average children a woman has in lifetime) from 3.2 in 2000 to 2.2 in 2016.
So continuing with this trend we may attain stagnation and then further decline in population post 2050.

Hume ye nahi bhulna chahiye ki Economic development k sath life expediency badhegi, buddhe log or jyada jienge. Jindagi nark ban jayegi, Baccha Kindergarten k sath hi IIT or Medical ki coaching lena shuru ker dega. Maa Baap baacho ko Birthday per TMH or resnick halliday walker ki books diya karenge. I support the decision of the SC bench and anybody would favour it have they visited TAJ in the recent past. I visited Taj Mahal about a month ago and found work of re-polishing being done to bring back the glamour of old days. The comparison of the polished and unpolished parts made a lot of difference. The government must also ensure to protect these world renowned monuments.

Galat sooch nahi galat jaankari rakhe ho, SPJ or SEE division ER se nahi NER se nikle the. 1952 me Awadh or Tirhoot railway Corporation ko mila ker NER banaya gaya. NER k paida hone se 75 saal pehle tirhoir railway Corporation ne ab k SEE or SPJ division me rail connectivity provide ker di thi. Humne jiya hai is route ko, mehsoos kiya hai ise. Kisi se iske vishay me janne ki jarurat nahi hai hume.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. .
