Aur app jo mere hometown ke bare me befizul gandi baate likh rahe ho? Pehle comparison karna sikho fir gandi baate likhna . Trains to Hazaribagh wale bhi demand karte hai jaise Ranchi Rajdhani ka diversion , Traino ka extension tab Hazaribagh bhi overhyped hai Simple
I anticipated credible sources or data to back your stance, but the remarks so far have lacked substance. There remains no concrete basis to support the claim that the mentioned stations do not merit their recognition.
You cant change geographical location. You can cry for not enough connectivity towards North India, but same analogy can justify apathy of ASANSOL for not getting enough connectivity towards South India and northeast, which Malda enjoys by miles than Asansol.
Maldah have far more south bound trains than Asansol. Politicians are doing on their behest. That's true for extension of Farakka express to Balurghat; again same is also true for creation of a divisional head quarter in Malda town keeping in abeyance of a far bigger city like Bhagalpur. So it comes home to the Roost. Isn't it?

Good job of Ara junction for it's 8th rank in earning and 6th in footfall.
It's of Bihar only. That's why no DHN, DDU and other stations of Jharkhand , UP and MP
