There are only 2 ways as of now for 12311/12 to go LHB:

1. From a perennially full 24 Coacher it has to become a 15-16 coaher train....

2. It has to get short terminated at CDG, so be prepared to let go of HWH's vis-à-vis Eastern India's only connection, and Delhi's only overnight connection to KLK/Shimla by train. The "Kalka" tag of Kalka Mail will be gone forever (now that we have renamed the train to Netaji - so should not be much hassles for them).

If only they had the senses to make this 12311/12 into a 16 coacher itself - WHILST running a 4/5 day 12329/30 SDAH - CDG WBSK (extended beyond ANVT via DLI, remaining 2/3 days of the week could have been a NBSK via NJP - MLDT, so many states have more than one single lonely SK #JustSaying)...

I don't think they will be much travelers from Howrah -Gaya sector everyday to Kalka heading to Shimla. Let the mail be terminated at Chandigarh with 22 coach LHB rakes. Introduce a new train from Kanpur to Kalka 16 coaches via New Delhi which act as morning intercity from Delhi to Kanpur and overnight to Kalka from New Delhi which is the primary requirement connecting to Toy Train.

Was checking the Google Maps satellite imagery of KLK stn. & noticed that there is infact, a 550 m long PF3, enough to hold 23 LHB coaches & a loco..... (a little unclear here 😅😅 but u can check it out for urself). So this train can be LHB fied with a full length rake.

Don't know bro!! How a highly demanding train like this could be ignored by Railways repeatedly years after years.... Looking that They are not even serious to these problems!!! Even alloted coaches have been despatched, they too have been given to other trains.... God forbid, if anything unfortunate incident happens, a massive massacre will blow away as most of the time it runs with 110-115 kmph...
