Sharing a few captures from my trip today (13/01/25) on board 16128- Guruvayur Chennai Egmore Express from Srirangam to Mambalam.

The loco link was AJJ WAP-4 #22671 with thunderbolt stenciling.

25 minutes late and MBM 15 minutes late.

The coach was B2, excellent maintenance but felt bit too shaky. High time this train gets LHB coaches with revision in CC and Charting locations. Too many seats get wasted due to berth multiplexing under a single charting location.

The pics/video here are of, Arrival to SRGM, loco pics & train pics. the pic at night was taken at Mambalam. Hardly 5 mins after i deboarded, Anantapuri SF bound to QLN, skipped MBM at a good pace with either a P-1 or a P-4. (didn't capture it though).

Out of the three proposals,I had frequently suggested/ requested for train to Udaipur from deoghar or Jsme on dubey jee's facebook handle.

I had suggested for extension of Udaipur Patliputra HS to godda or Deoghar. Since it runs mostly vacant except on festivals.

Existing Ananya express has almost nil quota from Jsme upto Jaipur and Udaipur.Therefore,a dedicated train was required.

Passenger trains ke liye bhi hai. KG line se bhi express train jati hai. Ab doubling lagbhag poora ho gya hai toh ye train via KG line bhi ja sakti hai (agar new mili toh)
