do you think after getting new halts at kankavali, sawantwadi road and thivim, 22119/20 will helps railways to increase the revenue ?? kr and cr thinking to give new halts at kkw,awv and thvm.

I do not agree with the proposed halts
Only Kankavli halt needs to be added and extend train upto Madgaon.
Since Jan Shatabdi caters to Thivim pax, Karmali halt may be retained for Tejas
Major thing is Tejas should be speeded up and priority ensured.
have attached my proposed Tejas Schedule which will ensure better patronage. JS TT will require to be adjusted a bit. JS will also be speeded up by 15 mins ex DR n 15 mins ex MAO.

is there any plans of CR and KR to extend Tejas Express upto MAO? KR CMD is saying extending Tejas to MAO is not feasible and in other side on Marathi newspaper is saying KR is planning to start Tejas from Madgaon with additional halts at Thivim, Kankavali and Chiplun

Since JS also terminates at MAO they are at present finding it difficult to extend it to MAO due to platform issue.
I had suggested them to terminate JS at KRMI but have not received any reply till date.

Now there is no platform issues at MAO. 4th Platform
( High level platform ) is ready with Ticket Booking Counter and waiting for Inauguration.
MAO station building, Compound walls, Main station FOB painting working going on full swing. They might unaugurate it very soon.

**Too much privilege?**
For past few years a trend has been set by IR. A train is being given commercial Halt within a very short span at another station of the same city shortly after departing from a major station. There are countless examples throughout the country, amidst which some notable examples are Guwahati/ Kamakhya, CSTM/ Dadar, NDLS/ NZM/ Delhi Cantt, HWH/ SRC, BPL/ Habibganj, SBC/ BNC, Patna/ Rajendranagar, ADI/ Sabarmati etc. And not only ordinary Mail/ Express, many big names like Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani, Ajmer Shatabdi, Bengaluru Shatabdi, Ashram, Shram Shakti, Saraighat, North East, Vikramshila, Gitanjali, Punjab Mail, Kalka Mail, Bengaluru Mail etc are falling under this scheme in recent days.
you thing that it is justified?
1) Yes. it helps to serve a big city better61%34
2) Yes. it generates better revenue0%0
3) Both 1 and 22%1
4) No. public transport can't satisfy everyone. people should also compromise a bit2%1

TN is more exclusively for Delhi and Chennai Cities. Probably the fact that NZM is a large terminal with trains towards Agra and Kota may justify this halt. Also probably due to convenience of passengers and traffic factors , NZM is given halt.

TN TNSK APSK TL KA KASK KESK goa are special case. ordinary regular Sf like thirukural ddn mdu dhakshin need not skip MTJ AGC like stations. if traffic is huge and places have other alternaive trains for that destination then v can think of such skipping.

Thirukkural's priority is same as Sampark Kranti (APSK/TNSK, as these 3 share same slot). It can't be termed as an "ordinary regular Sf" in my opinion....

Latter as SF,
Because when you calculate the speed in section where it shares slot (NDLS-Erode), it is 60+
Isn't it enough to call it as SF?
Also, APSK/TNSK/Thirukkural have slot-sharing right from
the starting station (NZM)......but Himsagar/Navyug already cover a long distance before Delhi + too many halts before that. So not possible to compare both cases
