According to note served by Railway Board to Zones,
17643 arrives COA at 10.10, slowed down by 50 minutes.
17644 leaves COA at 14.20, arrives GDR at 03.48/03.50, slowed down by 20 minutes.
It is highly unfortunate that this train, already notorious for its late arrival at NDD,RJY,SLO,COA is "officially" slowed down. Most of the time it reaches at 10.10. Now imagine you have...
more... to sit for 16 h 50 min for 700 kms (AT 41.6 KMPH!!17644 travels at 43.3 - small comfort)and we talk of bullet trains. I personally feel that if SR,SCR really want, they could have devised a slot with minimal interference from other trains and speeded up the only dedicated daily connection between MAS and the Godavari districts. With the influx of migrant labour from WB, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, we are unable to get tickets at will in MAS-HWH Mail, ALLP-DHN/TATA, and 12664/12666/15929/15629/12897/18496 (Egmore gang) to travel MAS-RJY. 22869 & 22801 are not daily trains, adding to our woes. It is difficult to get seats on 12829 as many travel beyond VSKP.
Why cant the Railways understand the situation? Why is it that complaints fall on deaf ears? Really hope SCR expedites FEDL of BZA-BVRT-NDD and TEL-GNT so that Circar can travel at 50 kmph.
