Sunday evening observations at GIT Ghorpuri Yard, near Pune railway station from 17:30 to 18:30 hrs (04-Jan-2009)!
1) 1621A Pune-Satara Passenger was hauled by blue PUNE WDM2 # 17991R.
2) Turquoise PUNE WDG3A # 13064 Shakti moved from loco shed towards Pune station premises. This will mostly haul 2129 Pune-Howrah Azad Hind Express.

Late running 1078 Jammutawi-Pune Jhelum Exp arrived with orange PUNE WDG3A # 14818.
4) Outgoing 1077 Pune-Jammutawi Jhelum Exp was hauled by orange PUNE WDG3A # 13044 Shakti.
5) Yellow PUNE WDS6 # 36006 was seen doing shunting work in yard area.
6) Red/white ACC Cement Rake was ready to proceed towards Pune/Mumbai direction with twin Kalyan Shaktis! The leading
loco (towards Mumbai direction) was dark orange microprocessor controlled KYN WDG3A # 13394 Shakti and trailing
loco was orange KYN WDG3A # 13369 Shakti.
7) Late running 1034 Darbhanga-Pune Exp arrived with blue PUNE WDM3A # 18951R at around 18:00 hrs and was held up at GIT Yard, due to the non-availability of platform at Pune. When I left GIT at 18:30 hrs, 1034 DBG-PUNE Exp was still there! The train was late by 10 hours!
8) 2135 Pune-Nagpur SF Exp was hauled by orange PUNE WDG3A # 13355 Shakti.
9) PUNE WDM3D # 11215 moved from loco shed to Pune. This will mostly haul 1547 Pune-Baramati Passenger.
10) 2157 Pune-Solapur Hutatma Exp was hauled by ED WDM3D # 11107.
11) 1041 Mumbai-Chennai Exp was hauled by orange KZJ WDM3A # 18980R.
12) 6506 Bangalore-Gandhidham Exp came with orange PUNE WDG3A # 14904. This train gets BL WCAM1 loco for Pune to
Ahmedabad journey. Thus, today, in 1 hr railfanning session, all types of loco held up by PUNE DLS, viz., WDM2, WDM3A,
WDG3A, WDG3A Shakti, WDM3D and WDS6 were seen at GIT Yard!
