How do you know when chart is being prepared for different station ? I have booked two tickets of pachhim express. Both are in waiting list. Both tickets has 80%chances of confirmation as per prediction in PNR blog.

One is booked from Mumbai to Mathura & another is booked from Surat to Mathura.

Now...
more...
if both get confirmed at the chart preparation time then i will loose in one of tickets.

So I want to understand chart preparation process of Pachhim Express. I understand from different blog that if train is leaving before 12 noon then chart for that train is prepared previous night.

About IRCTC, I am not much aware of, but on availability enquiry of indianrail.gov.in, many times, the availability status is kept live while charting would have been done.

It simply shows book!!
If @ 3:30 AM approx @ same day of departure, irctc allows booking (where the actual booking happens) then whats the need of operation!!
Simply, u can go by the fact which clearly been implied or can post example which isnt been related to the query!!
