No. I had written in requisition form MEHTA R BHARATI and the clerk rejected it, saying to write full name. Same was told to others too. But on charts have seen names in such formats (ramesh k sinha). As the rule is to write full name, to be on safe side enter full name with as much characters possible. Can't say when a law abiding TTE can stretch his hands on anyone's collar on this aspect.

I always drop out the middle name I only write Shahzad Mikrani. It gets full 15 no problem have ever occurred even some of my id cards declares my Name as Shahzad Asif Mikrani or even only Shahzad Asif.

Normally there is no problem, but the TTEs ( not all) are in search of an easy prey and this rule of entering full name is new, so many don't know it, though at PRS it is written and the clerks also ask to write full name. Taking the advantage of this new possibly unknown rule TTE can mess with the passenger and the traveller would not want this mess and frustration of proving their identity during thier journey.
