Yes. RB , RM and IR big bosses are forcing SL and GS class passengers to pay more money and travel in AC. It is not that they don't know anything. This has a big political reason behind.
Private train was planned few years back, Private players wanted to run all AC trains, but they got backwards because of many reasons and in those reasons there was a hidden reason is that they told that except Rajdhani, AC Duronto, Shatabdi exp, AC Exp, Humsafar all other trains have lots of Sleeper and GS coaches and even in AC trains there r many trains whose Sleeper coavhes gets filled but AC coaches don't fill. It is tactics to force Sleeper class passengers to buy AC tickets due to less no of Sleeper coaches in trains. This will make these passengers habituated of AC travel in comming years.
I am telling you today and mark my words. Now government saying no privatisation of IR. But in future Private trains will run in IR and those trains will be fully AC trains and they will get AC passengers also. This is a process to make non-ac passengers habituated of AC travel by force , so that private players don't make losses.
2AC and 1AC class passengers in many routes already gone to Flights mode of travel. So, 3AC and Sleeper passengers r target passengers now. Vande bharat exp if u see comming up will also be full AC trains and its Sleeper version will also be full AC trains. AC everywhere where will you go in comming days.
