On analysis of TT of trains between SBC-MYS, I find that running time of few express trains are equal to or more than that of passenger trains in the same sector & SF trains are running with less than 55 KMPH. The trains and possible solutions are provided:

Such a lazy and false reply. Amaravati express used to run earlier with 2 or 3 HCPVs bringing the total CC to 24. This section has equal ruling gradient compared to Bhor and Kasara Ghats so why can they accomodate 24 coachers and why can't this one ?
Why can they run 58 wagon BOXN and not 24 coach rakes ?
I had personally seen 23 coach Goa express climbing Braganza Ghats it had one extra coach that time.

I was wondering if three more lines n 3 Platforms could be added to Kalyan Jn.
At present with 8 PF, Kalyan is handling extremely well but I feel that the traffic might increase more.... Especially Once Kalyan Vashi/Panvel service begins new PFs would be required.

Use the Kalyan Yard space just behind RMS Office next to PF 7. Construct 3 PFs. Connect the South bound tracks (Pune Line) to these PFs and it can handle the long distance train traffic to n from Pune using 5th n 6th lines.
Ofcourse it will require major remodelling of Kalyan Yard and that is possible.
Thus,
PF 1,1A, 2 and 3 will continue as per present plan
PF 4,5 and 6 will cater to Kasara side long distance trains and EMU traffic
PF 6 n 7 will cater to Kalyan Vashi /Panvel services
PF 8,9 and 10 will cater to Karjat side long distance trains and EMU traffic.
