Does a tatkal ticket in SL ever get upgraded to 3AC? It happens in General tickets, has it ever happened for a Tatkal ticket?

I'm planning to book a tatkal ticket in Poorva Express (12382) from NDLS to HWH this month. I'm planning to book in SL class to save some money.Would the sleeper class be overcrowded as it is peak season? Should I prefer 3AC instead? I'm a 20year old guy and would be having just one bag as luggage. Please help. All suggestions are welcome!

Hahah....bhai itne paise bhi nahi bachane hain...bas isliye pucha kyuki general wale bhi Sleeper me aa jaate hain aur fir sleeper crowded ho jata hai. Bas mushkil se baithne ki jagah bachti hai.

I am planning to book a ticket in HWH-NDLS Express (12323) of 23rd October 2015. The current status is WL 223/107. Are there any chances of confirmation??
I am planning to book a ticket in HWH-NDLS Yuva Express in AC Chair Car. Is it comfortable for a 18-hr long night journey? As there are more than 800 seats in General as well as Tatkal Quota, chances of confirmation are very high. Should I go for it?

What could be the possible reasons that 12249/12250 HWH-NDLS-HWH Yuva Express runs around 2-3 hours late every week despite only having 5 stoppages and a good speed ?
