Coming back to Delhi from Khajuraho in 22447 UP SAMPARK KRANTI... Good news is Principal Chief Engineer, Jabalpur Division along with his Chief Engineer are travelling in our compartment on the berth opposite to me... PCE is a good and cheerful person. They have commissioned an engine at Lalitpur station today.
The train started from Khauraho at 18:23 hours. It reached Mahoba around 19:10 hrs. Please note that the rake of UP SAMPARK KRANTI - SLIP from Khajuraho has to wait at Mahoba for the remaining rake of UP SAMPARK KRANTI that joins it at Mahoba after coming from Manikpur. This wait is nearly 1:15 hrs. We left Mahoba at 20:15 hrs.

guys, today only I realized how tough their job is and how much pain our railway engineers are taking to build, operate and maintain our rail network. It is already 20:57 hrs and we have just left KULPAHAR station, these guys are still working.
Hats off to their spirits and work attitude. Now I am sure why our trains are so safe to travel in.
Update: It is 21:35 hrs. Train just left Harpalpur station. Just observed that complete staff is travelling with PC and CE. They all are working on some maps on an upcoming line somewhere in MP and on the expansion of MAHOBA - KHAJURAHO line.
Update: Train left Mau Ranipur station at 22:00 hrs.

One hell of a train... Nearing Mathura.... Since we left NZM, the whole train is shaking like hell... For the last 15 minutes I have been trying to take a photo of my wife but the bogie AB1 shakes so much that its impossible to keep my hand steady... I wonder if its the same with other trains but I am experiencing this type of shaking for first time. My neighbours are complaining that they are not able to sleep because of this shaking of bogie. To give you an idea of the shake, imagine your are sitting in an Alto or Maruti 800 car and you have to go on a kuchchaa road. Even my tea cup is shaking heavily :)

Had a chat with train conductor. Fault in S6 bogie rectified, now only one tubelight is not working... Rest are fine.

Going to Khajuraho in 12448 UP Sampark Kranti. Starting from Nizamuddin, Delhi. Train departure time 8:10 pm. Rake arrived at platform no. 7. Though the train starts from NZM, but, regret to say that cleanliness is not proper. The toilets of the coach AB1 are stinking and foul smell is intolerable. Will someone tell how to lodge the complaint and with whom ?
There is no pantry in the train. So you have to carry your own food. Vendors from COMESUM have appeared. Some are offering vegetable biryaani for Rs. 130/- and non-veg biryaani is also available. Some are offering vegetable thali f9r Rs. 170/-. Thali is also from COMESUM. I have opted for veg biryaani....
