This is an advance notice that we shall be rolling out an enhanced UI for the mobile site, which is designed to allow quick one-click navigation of all the menu items, instead of first clicking the main menu, and then accessing the submenu. Also, there will be multiple ways of accessing the same menu item - either through the corner drawer menu, or through the side-scrolling top menu.

to navigate the various submenus of the train, station and search pages by quickly accessing the horizontal menu, instead of going all the way to the top of the page and accessing submenu. The web Availability Calendar has also been made smoother, and will be similar in most aspects to the RailCal app.

There will be some temporary inconvenience as it may take a day or two to get used to the new navigation. Apologies for the same. However, in the long run, the new navigation is expected to make all features directly visible on the page instead of having to hunt them in hidden submenus.

All are requested to understand that the site needs to evolve with changing technologies, and rolling back the changes and "restoring the previous scheme" is NOT an option. We can only move forward, by incorporating member feedback and addressing any drawbacks.

A few bugs may be encountered here and there, but these will be fixed rapidly.
