There is a news about a special Vande Bharat between Bangalore and Ernakulam. Is this a permanent train or just a temporary train for the festival time. Anyone knows about it more in depth. When will the first run be, time table.. etc.

Will PGT ever get a Vande Bharat Express. There are trains to SRR and CBE.

Only PGT seems to be missing out. Is there any news about VB that passes through PGT. Maybe a SBC-ERS VB?

Disagree:WDP4D is more than capable enough.
Considering the somewhat aggressive schedule of this train, why cant they provide ERS ALco twins for this train. At least provide an E loco. The WDP4D is struggling to accelerate I feel due to the load.

ERS WDP-4D #40101 ready to haul our 16527 Yesvantpur-Kannur Express. We were traveling to Palakkad, and the train maintained an excellent run despite having a delayed start. For the first time in my memory, the train reached before time at Palakkad (PGT).

P.S: High time that this train got a P7. Really sad to see that this is the only train to run with Diesel loco in the Hosur section.
