Indrayani Birthday special: Alco chugging, honking, turbo spinning at its best!
A very happy Birthday to Indrayani Express, one of the popular trains between Pune and Mumbai. It is also one of my personal favorite trains as it is gets some of the best diesel locomotive from Erode DLS. Seen here is a 10 minutes late running Indrayani Express ripping past with an amazingly chugging and honking WDM-3D at twilight. The Alco produces tubrocharger sounds and disappears into the mountains ahead.

This certainly was the catch of the day of my Jaipur trip. On a day when many trains were cancelled and few running late by hours,I was lucky enough to spot this train.

Deadly Kalyan Alco charging in furiously with one of the star trains of Konkan, The Duronto. As usual amazing speed of 105 kmph+ put up by this Duronto. I have always enjoyed capturing this as i love the LHF Alco+LHB combo. This is one of the premier trains of Konkan connecting the two major cities Mumbai and Ernakulam at a very good speed

Train through desert : WDP4 agressive show with Marudhar Expess
One of the important trains connecting Varanasi (BSB) and Jodhpur (JU), Marudhar Express silently blasts past the rough desert surroundings of Bindyaka. According to the villagers, the desert of Rajasthan starts from here and the sand builds up as we move further west.
